The Association of South West Agriculturists, Rural Development and Environmental Programme (ASWA-RUDEP) is a pragmatic indigenous civil society organization created in November 6th, 1996 with the head quarter in Buea. It has as mission to move the South West Region toward a sustainable and equitable development through the empowerment of local people. ASWA-RUDEP operates in the South west and North West Region of cameroon. It has its Head Office in Buea and othe field offices in Manyu and Ndian divisions in the South West Region, and Ngoketundia in the North West Region.

Amidst the crisis that is rocking the two Anglophone regions, ASWA-RUDEP aims at moving local communities towards a sustainable and equitable development through the empowerment of local people. These services include capacity building in appropriate farming techniques, market access for the surplus production of members, access to agricultural credits, access to good quality farm inputs, efficient and  sustainable management of safe drinking water, best practices of hygiene and sanitation, and good governance principles.
